Statex a commercial printers based in Newcastle Upon Tyne, wanted a calendar to promote themselves throughout the year. The idea was to create monsters and creatures in which people could interact with the mark would be an ink splat and this could be made into a creature with a selection of stickers you would get with the calendar and so making the image show whatever you wished it to show.
